Design Leads are crucial in shaping the user experience and design aspects of Launch Pad projects. As a Design Lead, you'll champion the importance of UX/UI in software development and lead initiatives to support and grow our design team.

Responsibilities

• 👥 Support, lead and mentor our designers
• 🎨 Spearhead design recruitment, reviewing applications and conducting interviews
• 🤝 Collaborate with tech leads to support designers on their teams
• 🧭 Provide guidance and support to designers across projects
• 🌐 Oversee Launch Pad's branding and social media marketing efforts
• 📚 Document design and administrative processes for future reference
• 🗓️ Attend weekly leadership and executive team meetings
• 🗣️ Actively contribute ideas to improve the Launch Pad experience
• 📊 Provide feedback and progress updates to co-presidents
• 🔍 Identify and nominate future design lead candidates

• Expect to dedicate 6-8 hours per week, with variation based on project cycles and events.
